My latest two stoneware firing consisted of 36 mugs that have all come out looking brilliant with some really nice glaze runs and fusion.
Really pleased to announce that a range of my work will be available at the new Doone Valley Gallery and Gifts, Malmsmead on the border of Devon and Somerset. A beautiful location in the heart of Doone Valley with wonderful walks and stunning scenery.
Some raku firings go well some go bad. When the 'Kiln Gods' are smiling the results can be amazing. For my last firings the 'gods' must of been on a real high as I had some wonderful results.
First raku firing for a while, really great to be back in the heat the flames and the smoke.
It's been a busy couple of weeks with lots of glazing, firing, packing and delivering.
A wide range of Lyn Valley Pots work can be seen at The Lyn Valley Arts and Craft Centre which reopens on the 11th February after it’s Winter break. So if your in the area pop in and see all the fantastic local sorts and crafts.
It's been a very productive start to 2023 with lots of making including 8 cylinder wave vases, a bisque and a stoneware firing both went well with 30 mugs, 6 posy pots and 2 large bulb vases which I hope to have loaded to the shop very soon.
Coming to the end of 2022 and things are about to change with a rebrand and a new this new website with the plan to enable to allow my existing clients and all the new ones to be able to purchase directly from us online which hopefully will be a little more personal. My ETSY shop will continue so always check both sites to see our full range of available work.
